... fast-forward to January of 2015.
Julian: "I was running a little t-shirt printing business out of my apartment in London, ON to help pay for my last year of college. My brother Mike came up to visit one weekend and began telling me about his frustrations with the landscaping industry. He told me endless stories about his current and previous employers that involved poor practices, bad customer service, low wages, false promises etc... After many years of schooling and bouncing from one company to another, he was finally defeated.
I asked him, 'why don't you just start your own business?'. Within days, we formed what would eventually become NuGround Property Services. We printed up some company t-shirts, designed some flyers and we headed back home to Caledon with our ultimate goal of saving the world from shady landscaping companies. I guess you could say we're like superheroes in a way.
As we've grown, we've had the opportunity to include a wider array of service offerings to better serve our valued clients."
We're not afraid to get our hands dirty. In fact, it's inevitable in our line of work. No matter what, we do everything we can to make sure that the job gets done right and on time.
The most important thing to us is customer satisfaction. Everything we do, we do with the customer's best interest in mind. Without our clients, NuGround wouldn't exist. It's that simple.
Our team is well educated and well trained. When we show up at your door, you can count on us being friendly, polite, and helpful. Our crews wear uniforms and our trucks are properly branded.
We believe that business is about people, not numbers. Our goal is to build a team of positive, motivated individuals who want to succeed at what they do. We encourage team work and we emphasize good wages.
We love our town, our province and we are proudly Canadian. Our mission is to provide quality jobs and careers to Canadians while at the same time doing what we can to help out our environment by implementing eco-friendly practices.
We are very happy to announce that we have officially joined the Caledon Chamber of Commerce! The Chamber provides an opportunity for people who create local jobs and drive the local economy to work with government and the public to build a better community.
Did you know that we donate a small portion of our monthly revenue to the Canadian Cancer Society? Well... It's very true! We, like many fellow Canadians, have been impacted by this horrible disease and we want to make sure that we do our part in finding and developing new treatments to improve survival rates and the quality of life for cancer patients in our country.
We visit our local recycling centre in Bolton on a weekly basis to drop off used household items that we collect from junk removal projects. Doing this helps us to keep waste out of our landfills and allows members of our community to purchase furniture, clothing and other essential items at affordable prices.
We are a growing company. Our most valuable asset is our people and we are always looking for motivated individuals with a positive attitude towards growth, hard work, and success.
